Pricing & availability
WB-1 list prices, beta-cohort status, lead times, and exactly what a pilot includes. No quote-wall for the basic facts.
Public beta status
The design-partner alpha is closed. The public beta is open, with 32 of 50 cohort seats filled as of this revision. A cohort seat is not a place in a newsletter: it is a shipping allocation, a firmware channel, and direct access to an engineer who can read your rule graph.
Every beta order includes the WB-1 hardware, stable and beta firmware channels, the local dashboard, a 72-hour advance-replacement RMA commitment, and four-hour support response during an active pilot.
Hardware list prices
| SKU | Includes | List price |
|---|---|---|
| WB-1 | one 12-channel unit, USB-C supply, DIN clip | $1,490 |
| WB-1-B | WB-1 + matched 2S 18650 battery pack | $1,640 |
| WB-1-M5 | five WB-1 units, commissioning harness, spare supply | $6,950 |
| WB-MOUNT | DIN-rail + VESA 75 field mounting kit | $95 |
List means list. Volume discounts begin at 20 units; education and nonprofit pilots get the same engineering access, not a cut-down support queue.
Pilot package — $9,800
The pilot is for teams that need a result, not a box on a shelf. It includes:
- five WB-1 nodes and the mesh commissioning harness;
- 8 hours of remote onboarding with a product engineer;
- one rule-design workshop using your real zones and failure modes;
- a reviewed success plan with latency, coverage, and operator handoff criteria;
- a 30-day findings review and a written production recommendation.
The 5-pack remains yours. If the pilot misses the agreed technical criteria, we collect the hardware and refund the package instead of redefining success.
Lead times
| Order shape | Current lead time |
|---|---|
| 1–5 stock units | 2 business days from Atlanta, GA |
| 6–20 units | 7–10 business days |
| Build-to-order / custom harness | 4–6 weeks after drawing approval |
| International beta | 5–10 additional business days for export and customs |
Battery packs can add three days when air-freight rules require separate handling. We confirm the date before taking an order.
What stays free forever
The local REST and WebSocket API, YAML rule engine, wbctl, offline decision
path, dashboard, audit export, and signed firmware updates have no per-device
SaaS tax. Critical behavior does not stop because a card expired or a WAN
link disappeared.
What may cost extra later
Optional fleet analytics — cross-site history, long-retention dashboards, and managed model distribution — is included during the pilot. After beta we expect a band of $18–$32 per node / month, depending on retention and support. It remains optional; the local engine and API do not become degraded tiers.
